These Terms govern the use of services provided by Paternity Pros LLC, ("Paternity Pros," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 310 Central Avenue, Suite 303A, East Orange, NJ 07018, and our website www.paternityprosnj.com. By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, or interacting with us in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
1. WHO WE ARE
Paternity Pros is a professional DNA specimen collection and testing coordination service based in East Orange, New Jersey, helping clients answer sensitive questions about biological relationships with clarity, professionalism and respect. We coordinate with AABB-accredited laboratory partners who perform all DNA testing and analysis. We are not a laboratory and do not perform testing on-site.
Our services include parentage DNA testing for paternity and maternity; relationship DNA testing for grandparent, sibling, aunt/uncle (avuncular), and twin zygosity; prenatal paternity testing; gender determination DNA testing; postmortem DNA testing, immigration DNA testing, and home DNA test kits. Services requiring a blood draw are performed in-office only by a certified phlebotomist.
Appointments are available seven days a week, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Walk-in services are available Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Same-day and mobile appointments are available throughout New Jersey.
2. LEGAL VS. INFORMATIONAL TESTING
This distinction is important. Please read it carefully.
LEGAL TESTING
Legal testing follows strict chain-of-custody procedures. All participants must present valid government-issued photo identification. Specimen are collected and documented by a trained professional under witnessed, chain-of-custody conditions. Results processed under these procedures may be used for legal purposes including court proceedings, child support, custody, and immigration matters. Final acceptance is determined by the presiding court or agency.
INFORMATIONAL TESTING (PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE)
Informational testing does not follow chain-of-custody procedures and is not admissible in any court or legal proceeding. This includes home DNA test kits and any test for which chain-of-custody collection is not requested or required.
The laboratory analysis performed on legal and informational specimens may be identical. However, results are only considered legal when proper chain-of-custody collection procedures were followed at the time of collection. An informational test cannot be converted to, or substituted for, a legal test after collection has occurred.
Testing type is confirmed at the time of booking. Once collection has begun it cannot be changed retroactively.
3. LABORATORY PARTNERS & RESULTS
All DNA analysis is performed by our AABB-accredited laboratory partners. AABB accreditation reflects the laboratory's quality standards. Legal admissibility of results depends on whether chain-of-custody collection procedures were followed at the time of collection, not on laboratory accreditation alone. Final acceptance of legal DNA test results is determined by the presiding court or agency.

Results are scientific findings based on the samples provided and the analysis performed by our laboratory partners. They should not be interpreted as legal or medical advice and should not replace professional legal or medical consultation.
In the event of inconclusive results due to insufficient or compromised specimens, all fees paid remain non-refundable. If additional specimens are required and a participant is unable or unwilling to provide them, all sales remain final.
4. PAYMENT
Full payment is required at or before the time of service. Services will not be initiated until payment is received.
Accepted payment methods:
In-office visits: major credit/debit cards and cash.
Mobile visits: major credit/debit cards only. Payment must be received and confirmed before our collector departs from our East Orange, NJ office for your appointment.
Pricing is subject to change without notice. The price in effect at the time of booking applies to that transaction. All sales are final once collection has begun or a mobile visit has been dispatched.
5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
By using our services, you agree to:
You confirm that you have legal authority to participate in or authorize testing for the parties listed, that proper consent has been obtained for all participants, and that for minor participants a legal guardian has provided written authorization. Failure to obtain proper consent is the sole responsibility of the client.
Paternity Pros LLC reserves the right to report suspected fraud or misrepresentation to appropriate authorities.
6. RESULTS RELEASE
Results are released only to individuals listed as authorized parties on the signed consent form for your case. We do not release results based on verbal requests or to unauthorized third parties. Valid photo identification is required before release.
Results are delivered via email or in-person pickup at our office. In-person pickup requires valid photo identification matching the name on your consent form. If no email address is provided, results will
